Sustainability
As a natural part of our thinking we have a sustainable mindset.
We educate and challenge teams, clients, and suppliers to prioritize sustainability. Through efficient resource management and circular thinking, we offer measuring the CO2 footprint at the events we produce.
We optimize event planning to minimize transport and promote reuse of materials, aiming to combat throwaway culture in exhibition setups. Additionally, we enhance community impact by donating excess resources and supporting local initiatives.
Our Sustainability Commitment
Eventually is committed to creating events that respect people and the planet.
We support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and integrate them into our business practices. Our focus includes:
- SDG 7: Using clean energy in our operations.
- SDG 11: Designing events that contribute to sustainable communities.
- SDG 12: Reducing waste through responsible consumption and production.
- SDG 13: Taking climate action by minimizing environmental impact.
- SDG 17: Building partnerships that drive sustainability forward.
Our Guiding Principles
At Eventually, we believe events can inspire change, not just for people, but for the planet.
We support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and integrate them into our business practices. Sustainability is not an add-on; it’s embedded in how we design, deliver, and evaluate every event.
We focus on three core principles inspired by circular economy and regenerative design
We actively seek ways to restore and protect ecosystems through responsible sourcing, low-impact materials, and partnerships that prioritize biodiversity and climate resilience.
Waste and pollution are not accidents, they are design flaws. We challenge traditional event models by eliminating single-use materials, reducing emissions where possible, and integrating waste prevention into every stage of planning.
We prioritize reuse, repair, and repurposing. From modular event structures to recyclable signage, we design for longevity and circularity.
Our Commitments in Practice
We have established clear operational principles that guide our daily work
- 100% of our employees walk, bike or take public transportation.
- For work-related travel, we prioritize biking, public transport, or electric vehicles.
- External meetings are scheduled to minimize unnecessary travel.
- 78% of our meetings are held virtually.
- All employees have access to eco-friendly car sharing (HYRE).
- We support suppliers who invest in climate-friendly and socially responsible initiatives.
- We have operated as a paperless office since 2012, printing only when necessary.
- We separate and properly dispose of all waste at designated collection points.
- Since 2012, our principle has been clear: the last person disconnects all standby devices – no exceptions.
- We turn off lights and electrical devices when leaving rooms.
- EcoVadis Certification: We undergo independent sustainability assessments to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Sustainability is not a checkbox – it’s a process. We review and refine our practices regularly.
- Future Ambition: We aim to expand our measurement capabilities, including environmental impact indicators, as tools become more practical for event operations.
Sustainability is a shared responsibility. We invite our clients, partners, and suppliers to collaborate with us in creating events that respect people and the planet.
