Working hard for something we don't care about is called stress.

Working hard for something we love is called passion!

The Danish newspaper Børsen identified the five largest trends in the meeting industry for 2017. We agree:

  1. Demand for traditional hotels and conference facilities decreases, while the demand for creative solutions rises.
  2. Leverage digital solutions – finding inspiration in new business models and online companies to collect and understand data of meeting attendees.
  3. Collection of data of meeting attendees to be able to create more customized meeting solutions that increases value for all stakeholders.
  4. Project managers need higher education to be able to keep up with the industry.
  5. Passive meeting culture is OUT. IN: Increased involvement of participants – attendees have to feel like they have an active responsibility in the meeting.

We live in a world where we are never fully online and never fully offline

Rather than banning mobile phones and tablets from meetings, let’s try to embrace and involve their use

Engaging with your audience is essential if you are trying to get your message to sink in. But even better is to learn together and adapt in response to real-time results.
